The theme of my paper sculpture was relaxation. I think my piece looks relaxed because of the way the paper flows in a wave. The delicate cuts in the paper are all going in the same direction and it moves your eye across the sculpture. I added the flowers to my piece to add more variety, and to bring your eye back across the sculpture. I think that the best part of my paper sculpture is how the different layers of paper in the wave look when they're put on top of each other, because you can see through the cuts and to the other layers of the piece.
