Jocelyn Dexter My sculpture piece was inspired by the simple beauty of many different forms found in nature. I did not want to make my sculpture too complicated or busy. I decided to shape the paper into a spiral shape similar to that of a shell. I cut out an interesting pattern on the edges of the piece that reminds many of molecules. The same pattern was applied to the outside of the sculpture with graphite powder. I believe that the best part of my sculpture is how it is very structured but at the same time has a nice flow to it. Hope you like it!
