Pac-man Glazed Not Fired

The glazes used are watercolor underglazes on Pac-man, the ghosts, the strawberry, and the thingy by Pac-man's open mouth, and overglazes on the background, which will be blue-ish, dark brown, and teal-ish. The watercolor glazes are similar to the actual colors in the old Pac-man game, except for two of the ghosts. The background is just me playing with different colored glazes.

Life of Rock

I mostly used under glaze for my tile pieces to make it seem worn out. I also added a dynasty red over glaze to the background of the piece, so that the main detail shows up without all the shiny glaze taking over the whole piece.

Clay Head

The mood of my Head+Shoulders is slightly happy, but concerned. It is shown by the sculpture looking up and smiling but having raised eyebrows and caring eyes.

Demon

After many weeks of hard work I have created a clay head and shoulders sculpture. This sculpture is riveted with designs covering its entire body, almost like a tattoo. The two horns located on the head give the sculpture a demon like appearance. -Tyler

Aw-Struck

For my clay head, I did a female figure looking off into space with an expression that suggests she's taken in by something in the distance. The theme I used was "Aw-Struck" so to speak. The hair is individual coils of oil, scored and slipped into place. The clothing is small pieces of slabs that have been decorated with texture and formed to look like fabric. The face is tool and hand crafted. I think the best part of this piece is the face.

Strange Head

The mood in this is creepy and wild. This is shown by the expression and scars.

Josh's Sculpture

The mood is care-free, the way I showed this mood is by the facial expression and the way the head is slightly turned to the left. I also showed the mood as care-free by making the sculpture's hair hang in his face as is he has not a care in the world.
